We honor musical expression with fair play and mutual sharing of success.
I'll be honest, producing musicians is hard work. It's not always fun or rewarding, so I understand why labels want to protect profits. However, there is room to give. In the modern era I believe people as a whole are more evolved. We understand that money does not buy happiness. Happiness is birthed when we honor, respect, and flow as an outcome of good relationship. If we start with a core belief that every person is beautiful and something beautiful to offer the world, then a modern musical label is therefore more of an incubator than a business. Profits do happen, but as a natural outcome of honor and profit is experienced more broadly.
